How do you handle people who may not like you? ‘I’ve been online recently and there are some people who don’t like me at all. They say I’m a fake, that I’m a poser and stuff like that.
And you know, it’s alright. I mean, they don’t know me personally and I’m just a human being. I can’t make everyone happy; there are people who like me and people who don’t. Everyone goes through that and it’s normal.
But sometimes I feel like I’m misunderstood and most of the things they say about me aren’t even true. If they think I did something wrong and I didn’t realize it, then I apologize. I’m just trying to be a good role model for kids and just following my dreams. That’s all I can do.
Is it difficult living an exciting life, such as yours?-‘It has its pros and cons. There are times when it’s fun and exciting, but there are definitely times when you have to force yourself to smile for the cameras, when really you feel so gloomy inside. You have to be 100% careful of what you say and do or else they’ll twist it around and turn it against you.
Although it doesn’t really matter, cause they’ll twist your words anyway, like what I’m saying right now. [Laughs] Rumors are the worst though. But seriously, I feel so blessed and thankful to get an opportunity like this, I get to do what I love to do, which is acting and singing and I appreciate all my fans who supports me. It can be hard at times, but really, that’s how all jobs are sometimes. It’s bittersweet.

Are you calling Selena a liar? Why would she try to be accepted by everyone if she JUST said in this interview that she knows she can’t please everyone? Did you even read the whole interview? Selena has many different styles, she can dress sporty, girly, punky, etc. She’s a pretty open-minded person, let her experience life by trying different things! You just proved her point, she’s being misunderstand by people who don’t even KNOW her personally!
