Addressing reporters Thursday, Christian Bale spoke only briefly about his recent arrest in connection to an assault allegation filed by his mother and sister.
“It’s a deeply personal matter,” the Dark Knight star, 34, said at at a press conference for the movie in Barcelona, Spain. “I would ask you to respect my privacy in the matter.”
Bale spent four hours in a London police station on Tuesday and was released pending further inquiry. He denies the allegations and cooperated voluntarily, according to a statement released by his lawyers.
On Wednesday, he walked the red carpet in Barcelona for his film’s Spanish premiere with wife Sibi, signing autographs and posing for photos with fans but avoiding reporters.
The controversy hasn’t hurt The Dark Knight’s record-setting success: After scoring the biggest opening weekend in Hollywood history, taking in $158.3 million, it has since become the fastest movie to top $200 million in U.S. box office history.

It turns out Jamie Lynne’ mom killed a young boy years ago.
Accidentally, of course.
The incident happened in Kentwood, LA, back in 1975 when Lynne Spears was 20 years old.
Lynne was driving her brother to the hospital after he’d suffered an injury when she ran over the 12 year old boy on his bicycle.
The National Enquirer has even gotten confirmation that the story is true from Lynn’s rep!
A family friend says, “To this day, Lynne hasn’t gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it. She has told only a few people about the accident and always says, ‘Please don’t think I’m a bad person.’”
The young boy, Anthony Winters, lived along the route Lynne was taking.
Lynne’s rep says, “Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane.”
Anthony later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
Her rep adds, “Lynne realized the boy was struck immediately and to this day is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.“
Rumor has it that soul singer Joss Stone has been dating Nelly and she is supposedly pregnant. Now I don’t know whether I believe that ….her and him dating. But I could totally see her being pregnant with his child, that slut!

A reportclaims that bar owners in the ‘party’ section of Beijing were asked by the government to refuse service to black patrons.
Bar owners near the Workers’ Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises.
“Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians,” said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.
Does that mean black athletes can’t celebrate at a bar with their team mates after years of training and working hard?!

Miley Cyrus is set to bare all in a new film, according to MSNBC [Via FemaleFirst]. She’s reportedly interested in the lead role for ‘Undiscovered Gyrl’, based on Allison Burnett’s novel. The movie will almost definitely include nude scenes.
A source revealed, ‘It is still early days, but Miley is really interested in the film, which follows the story of a lovable, lost suburban girl who descends into a life of reckless partying and promiscuity. If she does get the part, you will be seeing a lot more of her than you did in the Vanity Fair photos, there would definitely be nude scenes.’
