Okay so I dont know if you have heard (she says, knowing the answer) but Angelina Jolie has given birth to her and Brad Pitts twins. Now before I start my complaining I would just like to say that I myself am a fan of Angelina and I think that she is probably the most talented woman in Hollywood.
However, I just dont get why people are making such a big deal over the fact that she has given birth to what the tabloids are calling the ’super twins’. I mean they are just movie stars there not the King or Queen you know. There would have been thousands upon thousands of babies that were born on the same day and its not as if they’re getting any recognition. And before you comment on the fact that they dont have famous parents, you also have to think on a reason why that should make the birth of any other child less significant. The thing is that I wouldnt actually mind if it was like a weeks worth of news like Nicole Richie and baby Harlow or Jessica Alba and baby Honor Marie, when there was just a headline and the number 1 story on the Daily Ten on E!, but its not its like months news and to be quite honest it sort of does my head in. Also the fact that the magazines are going to pay them $20million for the first baby pictures is quite mind-blowing. Although saying this I think that the more money they pay them for the baby pictures the more money will go to her charities so that point I can let slide although it is a waste of money on the magazines behalf.
I dont really know if it is just me that feels this way. Maybe everybody just sits at their computer or television screens waiting for their Brangelina fix? Maybe I’m just stuck in the Jen and Brad days or maybe im just talking complete sense (less likely) and people actually agree.

Spears Gets Overnight Visit With Her Sons
Britney Spears spent Saturday night with her boys at her Los Angeles home.
It was the singer’s first overnight visit with Sean Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden James, 1 1/2, since she was hospitalized at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in January.
The boys were dropped off Saturday and picked up around 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a source.
“Britney was very upset after the kids left,” the source tells Usmagazine.com. “She now does not know when she will get them next for an overnight. She complains it could be next week, or it could be three months.”
At a hearing last Tuesday, Spears, 26, was granted overnight privileges.
Asked if she were pleased with the judge’s ruling, she smiled and told Us, “yes.”
Meanwhile, Spears and ex Kevin Federline ” who was spotted partying in Miami over the weekend ” are gearing up for a custody trial, set to begin August 25.
Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told E! that a mediation session last Thursday didn’t result in a custody agreement.
Federline is seeking sole physical and legal custody of sons Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2 and wants Spears to continue her current visitation terms.
Said Kaplan, “If the existing arrangement was acceptable to both parties … we wouldn’t have to go to trial. But that didn’t happen.”

Jamie Lynn Gives Birth To A Baby Girl Named Maddie Briann
There is a new baby in the Spears clan! Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning.
PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.
“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”
Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.
Since announcing her pregnancy in December, Britney’s little sister has retreated from the bright lights of Hollywood, opting for the comforts of her hometown of Kentwood, La.
With her Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 already ended, Jamie Lynn went home to prepare for the birth of her baby. The actress, 17, and Aldridge, 19, got engaged in March. Recently, the couple purchased a three-bedroom home in Liberty, Miss., where Aldridge went to high school.
Over the last few months, Spears has kept busy by passing her GED exam, preparing the nursery and attending multiple baby showers.
Jamie Lynn’s Zoey 101 costar, Erin Sanders, told PEOPLE earlier this year that the actress will be a fun mother.
“She is just a very good-hearted and warm person,” she said. “We would always hang out on the set and she is a lot of fun, so I think she’s going to be an easygoing, fun mom.”

They decided on a quicky wedding before Pete pops out their baby! Oh, I mean, Ashlee….Ashlee.
“We’re delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends,” a spokesperson told People.
Petey Pie wore a beautiful ivory lace gown by Monique Lhuillier and jewellery by Neil Lane…Oh, I mean Ashlee did. It was Ashlee.

Jamie Lynn Spears ‘Very Happy’ At Baby Shower
The Spears girls don’t exactly do “normal,” but the May 3 baby shower for Jamie Lynn Spears in Kentwood, Louisiana was down-home and drama-free.
“Jamie Lynn was very happy,” a Spears source told Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now. “She had a great time.”
Several dozen family members and friends - including Britney, 26, who hadn’t visited home in more than a year (and was granted expanded visitation of her two sons Tuesday)- got to the family’s Serenity mansion at 4 p.m. and were greeted with blue, pink and brown balloons, as well as flowers on the tables.
(No cameras or cellphones were allowed, and source told Us that matriarch Lynne personally kicked out some crashers.)
Jamie Lynn, who’s due in June, shared lunch with the group and opened her presents, many of which were purchased from Connie’s Jewelry & Gifts, a local store and favorite Jamie Lynn shopping stop.
“She got several nice things,” says a source. (Another insider told Us that a family pal drove Britney, Lynne, and dad Jamie to the airport on May 4 for a return trip to L.A.)
Next up for the 17-year-old mom-to-be? A shower hosted by the aunts of fiance Casey Aldridge.
“It’s going to be for his side of the family,” a source told Us. As for a possible shotgun wedding for the couple, a different source said, “I haven’t heard anything about it. They’re just focusing on having a healthy baby.”

Angie Having Twins?
Well, the word on the street is, Angelina Jolie is apparently having twin girls! She is due in July, and a source says that the couple is thrilled to be having two more girls.
“Brad can’t wait — he absolutely adores little girls,” says a source. “And Angelina just loves seeing him and the other kids so excited and happy.”
“Angie got out of bed and was halfway across the room when she passed out and fell,” says the source. “Brad heard her hit the floor — hard — and he rushed to her side. She came around pretty quickly, and the medical team that has been traveling with her, a doctor and a nurse, got her back into bed and started checking her vitals.”
I’d assume she probably passed out because she realized she’s going to be mom to six kids, and boy oh boy is that a lot.

With Help From Britney, Jamie Lynn Celebrates At Baby Shower
It was a family affair Saturday as mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears was feted with an intimate baby shower in Kentwood, La.
About 30 guests were invited – including big sis Britney – to Kentwood for a ladies-only, catered celebration for the 17-year-old at the family’s Serenity mansion. (Spears hadn’t been back to her hometown since her aunt’s funeral early last year.)
“Jamie Lynn opened every gift,” says a source, adding that mom Lynne and fiancé Casey Aldridge’s mother lent a hand. “We all sat in a circle and she opened gifts and thanked every person. It was just a good old fashioned baby shower.”
In March, the Zoey 101 star registered for baby booty at Babies “R” Us.
Though sheriff’s deputies were posted at the gate and paparazzi circled in helicopters, “it was a normal shower,” says the source. “A wonderful, sweet occasion.”

Lynne Talks Jamie Lynn
Ah, oh the innocent of youth!
Lynne Spears finally opened up about Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy as she told Life & Style Weekly:
“I’m a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age. All I can do is turn to God for answers and just leave it in his hands . . . Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother. She really has a way with children — she’s a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit . . . I think 2008 will be a better year for all of us.”
At the same time, Jamie Lynn, herself, doesn’t seem to be looking forward to the birthing process. Hey, I don’t blame her!
Apparently, Lynne decided to show her a video of live birth and Jamie was less than impressed, throwing up afterwards.
“It was too graphic for her. She flipped out and literally got sick.”
Now she’s wondering if a C-section is possible..
“She wants to be knocked out and then wake up when it’s all over.”
In my opinion, I think that’s a metaphor for her entire life.

Ashlee Simpson Continues To Play Coy On Pregnancy
Ashlee Simpson is still remaining tight-lipped on her pregnancy.
On The Ellen DeGeneres Show (airing Thursday), the talk show host asked her flat-out if she were expecting.
“Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe….”
She then added, “Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something … because I don’t think I do,” before standing up.
Pointing to a photo of Jennifer Lopez, DeGeneres then asked, “You’re not going to keep this answer up as long as this woman did….”
Laughing, Simpson replied, “No, I’m not. I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that.”

The singer told DeGeneres her fiance, Pete Wentz, was “the greatest, awesome.”
How did she know she was ready to wed the rocker?
“I don’t know,” Simpson said. “Maybe when his jeans fit me … I decided we could wear the same clothes.
“There were lots of moments,” she added. “But every time he would leave [on tour], I would cry, so we had this inseparable relationship.”

Jennifer Lopez: Reality TV Star!
Jennifer Lopez is about the open her personal life for a new television series on TLC, the cable channel announced Wednesday.
The singer and new mom to twins will co-executive produce, co-create and star in the “docu-series,” which focuses on how Lopez juggles her career — including launching a new fragrance — with motherhood.
“I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together,” said Lopez.
“Jennifer is unbelievably passionate about life and will be an incredible role model for our audience,” TLC President, Angela Shapiro-Mathes said in a statement.
The series is currently in production. No air date has been revealed.

David Beckham On Having More Kids: “We’re Working on It”
David Beckham is ready to expand his family with wife Victoria.”We’re working on it,” the soccer star told Ellen DeGeneres when asked about Victoria’s prior statement she wanted to get pregnant after the Spice Girls tour ended in April.
“We’re very family oriented,” David said. “We always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted.”
“It’s worked out that we want a big family and we love kids so it’s worked out perfect,” he added.
The Beckhams have three children: Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3. They have been married for nearly nine years.

Baseball Star Alex Rodriguez, Wife Have Second Child
New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez took leave from his fellow Bronx Bombers this week for a very good reason: A-Rod became a father to another B-aby.Rodriguez, 32, was with his wife Cynthia, 34, as she gave birth to the couple’s second daughter, born Monday night in Miami, his team announced.
The baby, whose name has not been revealed, weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz., at birth, according to the Major League Baseball Web site.
“We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives,” the happy father said in a statement.
“A new baby girl, so that’s exciting,” Yankees manager Joe Girardi exclaimed the Associated Press on Tuesday.
Rodriguez, a two-time American League MVP, and his wife of five and a half years already have a daughter, Natasha, 3. They revealed this second pregnancy exclusively to PEOPLE last October.
“We’re thrilled. We can’t wait,” Cynthia Rodriguez said at the time. “It’s almost more exciting [than the first child] in a way, because you can anticipate what you already know is so amazing.”
Rodriguez, who had been undergoing treatment on his strained right quadriceps, is expected to rejoin the Yanks on Thursday. At that time, he will be re-evaluated to see when he will again be able to play.
In this season’s 20 games so far, Rodriguez is batting .308, with four home runs and 10 RBIs.
