Lawanda Pleads Guilty & 2009 is here!
A former hospital worker has pleaded guilty to selling the medical files of celebrities including Britney Spears and Farah Fawcett.
Lawanda Jackson, 49, received at least $$4,600 from the National Enquirer for the UCLA Medical Centre records, reports The AP. Prosecutors said Jackson worked at the hospital for 32 years, but only recently started selling the files.
Cheques from the newspaper allegedly started appearing in her husband’s bank account in 2006. Jackson, who is due for sentencing in May, faces up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Hudgens: “I was the one attacked”
Vanessa Hudgens has claimed that she was attacked outside London’s Apollo Theatre, quashing earlier reports that it was her boyfriend Zac Efron.
The High School Musical couple had been watching the stage adaptation of Rain Man when a middle-aged man allegedly tried to grab Efron’s hair.
Hudgens told Access Hollywood that she was left with a cut and bloody cheek following the reported assault. “I actually got hit in the face. If anything, I was the one who got attacked, not Zac,” she said. Efron said he didn’t realise what was happening until he was inside their waiting car. “I just heard about it. I was just focused on the van door - I’ve gotta get to it,” he said.
