The Next Miley Cyrus?
..Selena Gomez?
She’s the star of the Disney Channel hit “Wizards of Waverly Place”, and she’s supposedly the girl Disney executives have their eye on to make into the next Miley Cyrus. “Wizards of Waverly Place” has apparently increased Disney’s ratings, while the first episode of season three of “Hannah Montana” dropped them by an estimated 12%. Selena’s also got several film roles lined up, and she’s in the process of signing a record deal with Hollywood Records (owned by Disney), which also puts out Miley’s albums.
But, how soon until she’s sporting mini-skirts and halter tops in her music videos?
I myself much prefer Selena to Miley, and would be genuinely shocked if she did turn out like Miley, in one sense. Hopefully she will be as successful, minus the scandalous pictures.
I mean, honestly, can we at least let them be old enough to drive before we go making sex-symbol mega-celebs out of them? Pleaseee!

I prefer Selena over Miley, because Selena is a much better role model for kids, and I saw some of her youtube videos. I like her personality.

I really do not like miley cyrus. Watching Selena Gomez on Youtube makes me like her a lot more, and then seeing miley with all the bad stuff that she does… I really just don’t like her. And do you know about Miley’s best friend? She is bad and models in bad pictures. I hope Selena doesn’t become like her.

I like Selena Gomez better! She is so beautiful and she is funny and a much better role model. Miley Cyrus is too young to be taking those picture especially since so many kids look up to her. Selena wouldn’t do that and she doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her body.

i think that miley is becoming a bad role model , but , u cant get enough of her ! whether it’s another mistake or a good cause , u still like her ! Selena is pretty cool too! she’s great with people and has a great pesonality ! they r both good people , it’s just that miley need’s to get her priorities straight on how she wants people to see her . Why does it matter who we like best? To be honest I had never heard of selena until I stumbled across this website. I now realize who she is; but come on, Miley is huge. Everywhere I go I see Hannah Montana clothes, accessories, cards, wrapping paper, her gracing the front of magazines…she’s everywhere. Maybe you don’t realize when you become famous, there are a lot of other people out there who are making choices for you. Miley didn’t just wake up and say, I think today I’m going to take a risque photo…she had a producer, a photographer, etc. assisting her. By the way her photos are not like she’s naked. For goodness sake her back is bare. You can’t see a centimeter of her boobs, butt, etc. If you can say you’ve never walked out of your house in less than her picture then I guess you’ve never been in public in your bikini. Grow up, everyone makes mistakes and people that don’t like Miley are just jealous of her. Pretty soon the next disney star will be doing some scandalous thing and everyone will be over Miley’s not even bad photo. I mean look how many people went NUTS over Vanessa H. when she took pretty much next to naked pictures. Oh but then a few weeks pass and a new high school musical comes out and everyone thinks she’s wonderful again. If you’re hating on Miley for her photos, I say give it time and Selena and her friend Demi will be taking worse. They’re already on that path by their bikini shots. None of us truly know either of these girls, we don’t live with their pressures. Who knows what anyone would do with stardom, money, popularity….things change. Rock on Miley!

Miley made mistakes - no doubt. Selena and Demi have made none. They may in the future, you never know. But personally, I perfer Selena and Demi, becuase I have never liked Cyrus or her work, nothing against her though.
